Clinical Coding

Clinical Coding is vital in the monitoring of clinical effectiveness and ensuring the hospital receives payment for the healthcare it delivers in line with the “payment by results” process. Our Clinical Coders are fully competent with the complex coding conventions of ICD-10 and OPCS 4, coding across all specialties including general surgery, general medicine, trauma and orthopaedics, obstetrics, ENT, A&E, radiology etc. Our Clinical Coders can further develop and refresh their skills through access to an approved CfH Trainer who provides mentoring and support.
